The number of suicides in 2020 increased for the first time in 11 years as a result of the new coronavirus disaster, and a similar trend is being seen in Niigata Prefecture. The campaign featured impactful newspaper advertisements in red color tinted with the message "Let's live" from six people who have overcome various difficulties. In addition, as a result of the appeal for donations through newspaper advertisements to support people in need due to the Corona disaster, a large amount of support money was collected in a short period of time, and subsidies were given to food banks and other operating organizations to cover the cost of their activities. With sponsorship from many companies and organizations and the cooperation of all 30 municipalities in the prefecture, the campaign tackled the earnest theme head-on. We were involved not only in the creative production of the campaign, but also in the selection of the campaign name and people, participating in the project from the planning stage.

新型コロナウイルス禍の影響で2020年の自殺者数が11年ぶりに増加し、新潟県でも同様の傾向が見られる中、自殺防止を訴えるキャンペーンを新潟日報社が新聞広告等で展開した。さまざまな困難を乗り越えてきた6人の「生きよう」というメッセージを赤色を基調としたインパクトある新聞広告で掲載した。また、コロナ禍で困窮する人々を支援するため、紙面広告で寄付を呼びかけた結果、短期間で多くの支援金が集まり、フードバンクなどの運営団体に活動費を助成した。多くの企業・団体からの協賛と県内全30市町村の協力を得て、切実なテーマに真正面から取り組んだ。弊社は同キャンペーンのクリエイティブ製作だけでなく、企画段階からプロジェクトに参加しキャンペーン名や人選などにも携わった。
